The Ameer of the Islamic Movement Bangladesh and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, “We will think about the elections after finalizing the visible justice, fundamental reforms and PR system. Today, the Islamists have united. With the slogan of Naray-e-Takbir, the power lovers should be overthrown from the land of Bengal and thrown into the Bay of Bengal. I hope that only the people of Islam will come to power in the upcoming elections.”

He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at a public meeting organized at the Feni Central Shaheed Minar premises on Wednesday afternoon. Pir Charmonai said, the poisonous touch of 15 years of fallen fascism still has destabilized the country. It is important to follow etiquette while attacking political opponents. Because, fascism cannot be given a chance again under any circumstances. If elections are held through the PR system, fascism will not be created in the country; an accountable government will be formed. This will reduce the concentration of power, develop a culture of dialogue and ensure effective use of every vote. As a result, it will be possible to establish an inclusive government.
The mass meeting, chaired by Feni District President Maulana Gazi Enamul Haque Bhuiyan, was attended by special guests including Maulana Gazi Ataur Rahman, Senior Joint Secretary General of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Maulana Ekramul Haque Bhuiyan, Member of Parliament candidate for Feni-2 constituency, Saif Uddin, Member of Parliament candidate for Feni-3 constituency, Amir of District Jamaat-e-Islami Mufti Abdul Hannan and District Secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam Maulana Omar Faruk.
District and upazila level leaders of Islami Andolan Bangladesh and allied organizations were present at the rally.
