Who is ahead in the Ballon d’Or race as Salah, Vinnie, Mbappe fall behind?
It was early March. Liverpool were on the verge of winning three trophies. The Anfield team was considered the favorite in all three – the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup. And Mohamed Salah’s Ballon d’Or win after winning three titles was also the center of discussion at the time.

Not only Salah, but Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham have also fallen behind in the race to win the Ballon d’Or. The reason is the same, Champions League failure. Real, the king of the Champions League, has now been eliminated after losing in the quarter-finals. Real is also behind Barcelona in the race to win La Liga.
Barca, who are 4 points ahead of Real, are now the favorites in the race to win the league. Even though they are behind, Real’s chances of winning the title are not completely gone. But even if they turn around and win the title in the end, it will not guarantee Vinicius-Mbappe a Ballon d’Or win.
