We cannot be suppressed by attacks: Akhtar Hossain
He said these words while inaugurating the ‘July Picture Exhibition’ organized by the Jatiya Nagorik Party Dhaka Metropolitan South in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
Akhtar Hossain said, ‘We were surprised to notice that a group of terrorists had hurled cocktails at the vehicle on Wednesday night. They also exploded cocktails several times in front of the party office. We will continue to fulfill our duty no matter what obstacles come our way. At that time, Senior Joint Convener of the National Citizens Party, Ariful Islam Adeeb, said, “When the National Citizens Party is developing as a political force with the desire for an uprising, these attacks are being carried out to obstruct it at every step and block its path. We want to make it clear that the revolutionaries participated in the July mass uprising, ignoring the fear of death and standing in front of bullets. Those who are still carrying out various secret attacks will be repelled.” Leaders and activists of the National Citizens Party Dhaka South were present at the time.
