Unexplained death of fifth grade student in the capital
A fifth-grade named Muktadir (12) died unexpectedly in the capital’s Chawkbazar. The incident occurred around 11 pm on Friday. Chawkbazar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Ashrafuzzaman confirmed this information to Prothom Alo. OC Ashrafuzzaman told Prothom Alo that initial investigation revealed that Muktadir lived with his parents in the Palashi Mosque area of Chawkbazar. Around 10 pm, a passerby saw the child hanging from a towel on the balcony of the house and informed the family. He was later rescued and brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
