Those who are extortionists and terrorists are not BNP members: Shamsuzzaman Dudu
BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu said, “There are some evil people because of whom our party has suffered. Those who are extortionists and terrorists are not BNP members. Those who harm Bangladesh are not BNP members. They will be caught and handed over under the law.” BNP central leader Shamsuzzaman Dudu said this while speaking as the chief guest at a rally organized in Alamdanga on Friday afternoon. The rally was organized by former leaders of Alamdanga Upazila and Municipal BNP at the local Upazila Parishad stage. Former Upazila BNP president Shahidul Kaunain Tilu presided over the event. A large number of leaders and activists from various unions of the upazila besides the Alamdanga municipal area attended the rally.

Referring to BNP as a party of liberation war, independence and democracy, Shamsuzzaman Dudu further said, “Our leaders are Begum Khaleda Zia, Tarique Rahman. The politics that martyred President Ziaur Rahman gave is the politics of loving the people, the politics of protecting the people, the politics of protecting the country and the politics of protecting independence.’
Former Upazila BNP General Secretary Asirul Islam addressed the rally as a special guest. When asked about the organization of former leaders despite the existence of Upazila and Municipal BNP committees, Upazila BNP General Secretary Aminul Islam Rokon said that they are looking at the matter naturally.
