This great thriller will shake you up.

Desk Report,

This great thriller will shake you up.

Sad and beautiful. It is difficult to find a more appropriate phrase to describe this new British series in one word. There is no flashy stuff like the crime-thrillers that come to OTT every week, no unnecessary surprises to keep the audience interested, no opportunity to get bored with small set pieces and thousands of jump cuts thinking about shots and reels lovers. The producer is in no hurry. It is as if he is inviting you to enter a gray world. A world that is very slow, the characters are calm in mood. Brutal crimes, clever criminals are all there, but they are presented in front of you without any special glamour.

This great thriller will shake you up.

The ‘Department Q’ series is based on the widely read ‘Department Q’ series by renowned Danish crime-thriller author UC Alder-Olsen. Six movies have been made in Denmark from the ‘Nordic Noah’ novel series. Except for the first three, the rest are not worth watching. However, this is the first time that a series has been made from ‘Department Q’. The first season of the series of the same name was released on Netflix on May 29. The creators of the series, Scott Frank and Chandni Lakhnani, have added British humor to the flavor of ‘Nordic Noah’; all in all, ‘Department Q’ has become a series worth enjoying. Many may not remember the 2007 series ‘The Lookout’. Scott Frank came into the spotlight before the OTT boom by creating the intelligent series. Matthew Good was the lifeblood of that series; many fans still remember his character in the series. After almost 18 years, Frank and Good worked together again in the ‘Department Q’ series; it goes without saying that their return was memorable. Scott Frank was previously in the news for ‘Godless’ and ‘The Queen’s Gambit’, but now the name ‘Department Q’ is also associated with his name.
