Tauqir returns to acting and production
Tauqir Ahmed, a popular actor of the nineties, also made his name in production at one time. For several years, he has not been seen in that sense in acting and production. It can be said that he is quite irregular. In this case, the lack of a suitable story is a big reason, as is a reliable director. So he does his own thing. He stands in front of and behind the camera only when he feels like it. For example, he has started work on a new series called ‘Dhusar Prajapati’. Of course, it is being produced under his direction. In addition to directing, he has also acted in an important role in this drama. Tauqir Ahmed is the writer of this 26-episode series made for Bangladesh Television.

Today, Tuesday afternoon, we spoke to Tauqir Ahmed. At that time, he was busy shooting at Nakshatrabari Resort. He said that since June 21, he has started shooting for the series ‘Dhusar Prajapati’ at Nakshatrabari Resort in Rajendrapur, near Dhaka, and its surrounding locations. The entire shooting will be completed on July 3. Tauqir was last seen in the production of the film ‘Sfulinga’. After that film, he spent most of his time in the United States with his family. However, even though he was in the United States, Taukir kept himself involved in writing and stage plays. Regarding the story of the new drama, Taukir said, “The story has progressed with our society and the mentality of the people in the society.”
Before the serial drama “Dhusar Prajapati,” Taukir had made the serial drama “Rupali Jochnaya.” That drama was aired on Channel i five years ago. Apart from that, the other serials directed by Taukir are “Tomar Basantadine,” “Shankhabas,” “Chandramagn,” “Jochnakal,” and “Jalpari.”
Taukir said, “I am acting in a serial drama after many years. To be honest, I have to find something like that in the story as well as the character. Since the drama I wrote, I felt that I could work on the character, so I am doing it. While acting, I felt that the last time I did a serial drama was 10 years ago. And I am producing it after 5 years.”
