Desk report Six policemen were injured in an attack on Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria, when they went to arrest controversial speaker Gias Uddin Taheri. Three vehicles were vandalized during the attack. The incident took place in Nazirabari area of Char Islampur union of the upazila on Saturday night. Taheri escaped through a back door. The injured policemen are Sub-Inspector (SI) Faruk, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pradeep Das, Constable Yunus Mia, Nizam Uddin, Mohsin Kabir and Md. Shawkat.
