Desk Report: A college student committed suicide by hanging herself in Charamshua village of Farajikandi union in Matlab Uttar upazila of Chandpur. The incident occurred at around 10:15 am on Thursday, August 14. The deceased’s name is Shamima Akhter (18). She is the daughter of Salauddin Miji and Fatema Begum of Miji bari in Charamshua. According to local sources, Shamima Akhter passed her HSC from Matlab Raymonnesa Women’s College in the current year 2024.
