RAKSU elections: 42 candidates elected unopposed to parliament, 39 of them women
As there are no rivals in the Rajshahi University parliamentary elections, 42 candidates are going to be elected unopposed. Of them, 39 are female candidates. Of these, 29 are for editorial posts and 13 for executive members.

Meanwhile, no candidate has stood for four posts in four female student halls. Among them, the assistant debate and literature editor is vacant in Begum Khaleda Zia Hall and one executive member post each is vacant in Rokeya, Rahamtunnesa and July-36 halls. This information was revealed after analyzing the final candidate list signed by Chief Returning Officer Professor Setaur Rahman on Sunday night. The Election Commission said that they were elected as they were single candidates. The process will continue with the vacant posts vacant.
How many elected in each hall
According to the final list, Begum Khaleda Zia Hall is the one being elected unopposed the most. In this hall, there is one candidate for six editorial posts and four executive posts, so everyone is winning. Then 9 people are elected unopposed in Rokeya Hall, 9 in Rahamtunnesa Hall, 7 in July-36 Hall, 3 in Tapsi Rabeya Hall, 3 in Bijoy-24 Hall and 1 in Monnujan Hall.
In Begum Khaleda Zia Hall, Debate and Literature Editor Ashrafi Bulbul, Assistant Common Room Editor Tasmi Tamanna, Sports Editor Rokaiya Khatun, Assistant Sports Editor Nafse Mutmainna, Culture Editor Tahera Akhter, Assistant Culture Editor Saima Zakia. The executive members are Umme Habiba Akhter, Jannatul Ferdaus, Sumaiya, Umme Hani.
In Rokeya Hall, Assistant Debate and Literature Editor Tahmina Urmi, Common Room Editor Ayesha Siddika, Assistant Common Room Editor Afsana Akhter, Sports Editor Nazmun Nahar, Assistant Sports Editor Nashrifa Tun Naeem and Assistant Culture Editor Rudba Jahan. Rifa Sanjida, JN Humaira and Asnara Khatun as executive members.
