Pakistan is struggling with 6 wickets down.

For the first time after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, eternal rivals India and Pakistan faced each other on the cricket field. Before the match started, the political tension was reflected in the behavior of both teams, as the captains Surya Kumar Yadav and Salman Agha avoided a courteous handshake during the toss at the Dubai International Stadium.

However, in the field game, Pakistan has faced an even bigger test. After winning the toss and going in to bat, the team lost a wicket on the very first ball of the innings. Then, one wicket after another fell. Before reaching 50 runs, they lost 4 wickets, and quickly it reached 6 wickets for 65 runs.

On the very first ball, Saiem Ayub gave a catch to Bumrah off Hardik Pandya’s delivery. In the second over, Bumrah dismissed Mohammad Haris off his own bowling, with Hardik himself taking the catch. At that point, Pakistan’s score was just 6/2.

Later, Shahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman tried to build some resistance. They added a partnership of 39 runs in 38 balls for the third wicket. However, Fakhar (17) was dismissed by an Akshar Patel delivery, catching the ball in the hands of Tilak Varma.

Under pressure, Pakistan then lost captain Salman Agah. He too fell victim to the letters by giving a catch to Abhishek Sharma near the boundary. He scored only 3 runs (12 balls). After that, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Hasan Nawaz (5) and Mohammad Nawaz (0) in consecutive balls, putting Pakistan in even greater trouble.
