The Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh has warned that ‘mob terrorism’ cannot be approved under any excuse. ‘Mob terrorism’ cannot be approved under any justification: Revolutionary Workers’ Party

Expressing anger and condemnation over the incident of attack on businessman AK Azad’s house in Faridpur, Saiful Haque said in the statement, ‘The excuse on which BNP leaders and activists attacked his house is bizarre and ridiculous. During the Awami fascist regime, Awami League terrorists used to attack the houses of leaders and activists of opposition parties including BNP, raising similar allegations. These activities are nothing but terrorist activities.’ Saiful Haque, calling the attacks, assaults and kidnappings of accused at Patiya and Lalmonirhat police stations in Chittagong as terrorist activities, said that if this trend continues, the existing social anarchy will quickly take the form of political anarchy. Saiful Haque demanded the speedy arrest and trial of those involved in these incidents, regardless of party affiliation. He said, ‘These activities cannot be hidden even by talking about mob terrorism. In the last 11 months, numerous terrorist incidents have been committed in the name of “mob justice”. There are also serious allegations of fueling various parts of the government with many incidents.’

In the statement, Saiful Haque called for strengthening social and political resistance against mob terrorism.
