A press release said that a protest march was organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North on Saturday afternoon from Tejgaon Satrasta area. The procession circled various important roads of the city and came to Moghbazar for a short rally.

At the rally, Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and Dhaka Metropolitan North Secretary Muhammad Rezaul Karim said that the Awami League remained in power for 15 years by declaring war on misrule, mismanagement and the people. But they were not saved; rather, they had to shamefully resign from power in the face of the united resistance of students and the public.

They had to resign from power shamefully. Those who daydream about coming to power today will not be able to last even 15 months in power if they do not learn from the consequences of the fallen dictatorship.
