The new committee was formed at the emergency members’ meeting of Jagannath University Chhatra Shibir yesterday, Monday. Central President Zahidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the meeting moderated by Central Publicity Secretary Azizur Rahman Azad.
The Facebook page of Jagannath University Chhatra Shibir said that Riazul Islam was elected as the president through a direct vote of the members. He is a student of the 2018-19 academic year of the university’s Law Department. Based on the members’ suggestions, the newly elected president Riazul Islam nominated Abdul Alim as the secretary and Mohammad Zahed as the organizing secretary.
Secretary Abdul Alim is a student of the Law and Land Administration Department of the 2018-19 academic year. Organizing Secretary Mohammad Zahed is a student of the Management Education Department of the university for the 2019-20 academic year.
