Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said that to protect independence and democracy, patriotic forces must win in the next election. The country will no longer run on the words of any foreign master. We will take the country forward with our own strength. A kind of agreement has been reached between the Islamic parties in the country, Islamic parties will have a ballot box in the next election.

Golam Parwar made these remarks as the chief guest in a training camp for the Thana Majlish-e-Shura and working committee members at the Sonadanga Al Faruk Auditorium in Khulna city on Friday afternoon.

Golam Parwar expressed his concern in his speech that the victory achieved in the united movement of the students and the public in July will be lost if the anti-fascist forces of this country do not unite. The expectation of a new Bangladesh is to establish a society based on justice and fairness. Jamaat-e-Islami is working towards that goal. Leaders and activists must be ready to make an Islamic revolution in the country through voting in the next elections.

The Jamaat Secretary General said that today the people of this country want to see truly moral people in state responsibilities to change their destiny. They are eager to accept the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami. If neutral, free and fair elections are held in the country, then the expectations of the majority of the people of the country will be reflected. He called on the leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami to continue serving the people of the society by conducting public-oriented activities.

Central Organizing Secretary and Khulna Region Director Muhaddis Abdul Khalek, Central Working Committee Member and Khulna Region Assistant Director Maulana Abul Kalam Azad were special guests at the training camp, which was chaired by Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlish-e-Shura Member and Khulna Metropolitan Amir Mahfuzur Rahman and conducted by Secretary Sheikh Jahangir Hussain Helal.
