According to a BBC report, the man’s name is Abhay Naik. He is a resident of Luton, Bedfordshire, near London.

Abhay Naik behaved like an attack on an easyJet flight and endangering the safety of passengers. He threatened to detonate a bomb on the plane. He shouted political and religious slogans in mid-air, which spread panic among passengers.

A video of the incident has now gone viral on social media. It shows Abhay Naik chanting slogans like ‘Down with America’, ‘Down with Trump’. After that, he shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (which means ‘God is greatest’). Two men then overpowered him and threw him to the floor of the plane.

The man’s name is Abhay Naik. It was not immediately known what religion he followed.

After the man’s behavior, the pilots were forced to make an emergency landing in Glasgow. Scottish Police arrived there and arrested Abhay Naik.

Police Scotland said in a statement, “We responded to an EasyJet flight arriving in Glasgow at around 8:20am local time on Sunday following reports of a man causing a disturbance.”

The statement added, “We believe this incident was the sole responsibility of that individual and no other person was involved. Counter-terrorism officers are investigating the videos that have been shared online.”

Abhay Naik was arrested shortly after the plane landed. He has been charged with assault and endangering the safety of passengers. However, no terrorism charges have been filed against him.

“A passenger has been handed over to police for reckless behaviour,” easyJet said in a statement. “We are assisting the authorities with their investigation.”

Abhay Naik did not make any statements when he appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear again in court next week.
