Human chain formed to protest vandalism of Durga temple in Khilkhet
Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jote has formed a human chain to protest the vandalism of Sri Sri Sarvajanin Durga Temple and its idols in the Khilkhet area of the capital. They formed this human chain in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh in the capital on Friday morning. This information was later given in a press release.

At that time, they demanded the release of Paresh Chandra Shil and his son Bishnu Chandra Shil, who were detained on charges of blasphemy in Lalmonirhat, and protested against the atrocities and torture of minorities in different parts of the country.
Prosenjit Kumar Halder, one of the representatives of the central committee of Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jote, said in the human chain that the Durga Temple in Khilkhet was demolished with bulldozers and the idols of the temple were vandalized with the help of the state. He condemned and protested this.
Prosenjit Kumar Halder demanded that those involved in the demolition of the Khilkhet temple be brought to justice quickly. He said that the government must resolve the issue within 72 hours. Otherwise, a long march will be held from Dhaka to Khilkhet after 72 hours. Prosenjit Kumar also demanded that the government provide assistance in rebuilding the destroyed temple.
Acting General Secretary of Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council Manindra Kumar Nath, Secretary General of Hindu Mahajot Palash Kanti De, Pradeep Kanti De, Sushant Adhikari, Tanmay Maulik, Tiash Sarkar, Sudipta Pramanik, Sajen Krishna Bal, Pijus Das, Palash Sen, Pinku Bhattacharya, and others were present at the human chain program.
