Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said this while briefing reporters after the meeting of the Law and Order Core Committee in the conference room of the Home Ministry at the Secretariat on Monday afternoon. This information was given in a press release sent by the Public Relations Officer (Director) of the Home Ministry, Faisal Hasan. The press release said that Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that there is no reason for any panic regarding August 5. By the grace of Almighty Allah, all types of events and programs will be held peacefully with the cooperation of everyone. There is caution on the part of the government in this regard. The government has to be alert about everything. For this, various types of meetings are organized. Cooperation of all concerned is sought.

A journalist asked the Home Affairs Advisor about the special operation of the law and order forces. In response, he said, “The special operation is going on nationwide. It will continue until the elections.” And all-out efforts are continuing to recover the weapons that could not be recovered.’

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that juvenile crime is high in the capital’s Mohammadpur area. Social awareness of the people as well as families should be increased in this regard.

In response to a journalist’s question about mob violence, the Home Affairs Advisor said that mob violence has decreased from before. It will gradually decrease further. No concessions are being made in the case of mobs.

Senior Secretary of the Home Ministry Nasimul Gani, Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud and others were present during the briefing.
