EBL launches two credit cards in partnership with MasterCard and Peekaboo
Keeping in mind the lifestyle needs of its customers, Eastern Bank has launched two new co-branded credit cards with MasterCard and e-commerce platform Picaboo. The two cards, named EBL Picaboo MasterCard Titanium Credit Card and EBL Picaboo MasterCard World Credit Card, were recently launched at a function organized at EBL’s head office in Dhaka. This information was given in a press release by EBL.

According to an EBL press release, customers will get various benefits by using the new card, especially when using the Picaboo platform. Titanium credit card holders will get zero issuance fee, 1,000 bonus Skycoins and three months of interest-free EMI facility on purchasing products from Picaboo through EBL Zip. And World Credit Card holders will get 50 percent issuance fee discount, 3,000 bonus Skycoins and three months interest-free EMI on purchases made using the Peekaboo platform through EBL Zip. The launch of the new card was attended by EBL Additional Managing Director Osman Ershad Faiz, Mastercard Country Manager Syed Mohammad Kamal, Peekaboo CEO Morin Talukder, among others.
The announcement further said that the new cards will make the travel and shopping experience more enjoyable by providing greater ease of use, a wide range of benefits for customers. In addition, card users will get a discount of up to 1,000 taka and a cashback of up to 5 percent on purchases of electronics, home appliances, accessories and lifestyle items through Peekaboo.
