DUCSU results will definitely be announced tonight: Chief Returning Officer

The results of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Hall Parliament elections will be announced by Tuesday night, said the Chief Returning Officer of the election, Professor Mohammad Jasim Uddin. He said that the counting of some centers has progressed, while some are lagging behind. Professor Mohammad Jasim Uddin told Prothom Alo at around 9:45 pm on Tuesday. After voting from 8 am to 4 pm today, the counting of votes for the DUCSU and Hall Parliament elections is now underway in eight centers. Candidates from various panels including Chhatra Dal have already protested on the campus, alleging rigging in the election.
