On Tuesday, IPDC Finance PLC Managing Director (MD) Rizwan Dawood Sams and Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organizations at the Prothom Alo office in Karwan Bazar in the capital.
Respected teachers play an important role in everyone’s life to develop as a good person. Among all respected teachers, there are some teachers who are liked, whose guidance, teaching methods, affection and love leave a special mark in the minds of people. These teachers are known in everyone’s life as beloved teachers. This Dear Teacher Award is organized to honor those beloved teachers. Follow

The organization to nominate and honor the beloved teachers of school life, ‘IPDC-Prothom Alo Dear Teacher Award’, is starting again. This honor will be given for the fifth time next October.
IPDC Finance PLC Managing Director (MD) Rizwan Dawood Sams and Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organizations on this occasion at the Prothom Alo office in the capital’s Karwan Bazar today, Tuesday.
Respected teachers play an important role in everyone’s life to develop as good people. Among all the respected teachers, there are some teachers who are liked, whose guidance, teaching methods, and affection leave a special mark on people’s minds. These teachers are known in everyone’s lives as beloved teachers. This beloved teacher award is organized to honor those beloved teachers.

At the beginning of the MoU signing ceremony, Prothom Alo’s Digital Transformation, Youth Activities and Events Chief Coordinator Munir Hasan highlighted various aspects including the goals and objectives of the IPDC-Prothom Alo Dear Teacher Award. He said that the nominated teachers and the nominator must be citizens of Bangladesh. The nominated teachers must be at least 40 years old. He can be retired or working. The nominator must be at least 18 years old. Applications can be made online in a specific form. Details of the event will be announced soon.
After the nominations are made according to the prescribed rules, the jury board will select 7 favorite teachers from primary and secondary schools for the ‘IPDC-Prothom Alo Favorite Teacher Award 2025’.
