Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has left for London Chief Advisor after a four-day visit to the UK.

The Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the Chief Advisor and his entourage left Heathrow International Airport at 7:15 pm local time on Friday.

Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told BSS this information.

Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor Shafiqul Alam told reporters the previous day that the issue of recovering laundered money has gained the most importance during the Chief Advisor’s visit to the UK.

Shafiqul Alam said that the Chief Advisor and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman held a fruitful meeting on Friday. A joint statement after the meeting said that the meeting took place in a very cordial atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Professor Yunus has received the ‘King Charles III Harmony Award 2025’. This award was given to him in recognition of his lifelong work for the welfare of people. The Chief Advisor met with British King Charles III.
