Charmonair Pir calls on Islam lovers to unite for a ballot box in the next election
The Amir (Charmonair Pir) of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, said, “I have traveled all over Bangladesh, but now there is no more opportunity to turn day into night and night into day. Now the people of Bangladesh are alert. You extortionists, murderers, station grabbers, you will no longer get the opportunity to deceive the people of Bangladesh and throw them into the pit.”

Rezaul Karim said these words while addressing the public meeting organized by the Haluaghat and Dhobaura Upazila branches of Islami Andolan Bangladesh on Monday afternoon at the Munshirhat High School ground in Dhobaura Upazila of Mymensingh. At that time, he was the chief guest in the Mymensingh-1 (Haluaghat-Dhobaura) constituency. He announced the party candidate by handing over the fan to Zillur Rahman. Claiming that if everyone is united for Islam, it will bring prosperity to the country, Rezaul Karim said, “If we are united for Islam, for the welfare of the country and for the welfare of the people, then this country will be a golden country in the whole world. And if we fall for the deception of extortionists and fraudsters again, then our tears and mother’s heart-wrenching cries will be in vain. My business brothers will not be able to do business properly, I don’t want to see this environment anymore. So, let’s all come together, those of us who are Islam-loving and patriotic, if we can send a ballot box in the next election for the welfare of the country and the welfare of the people, then by the grace of Allah, victory will surely be bestowed upon us.”
Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said that the environment created in the country for the idealists to come to power was not there in the last 53 years. He said that in 1971, millions of people gave their lives and became disabled while trying to liberate Bangladesh. Mothers lost their children. The main goal of that independence was to establish global equality, human dignity, and justice. But those who governed the country for 53 years did not achieve these three. This leader of the Islamic Movement said, “We have become independent, but we have spent these 53 years of our lives in subjugation.”
In the mass meeting, chaired by Upazila Islamic Movement President Abul Hashem, Islami Andolan Bangladesh Joint Secretary General Gazi Ataur Rahman, central member Mufti Shamsuddoha Ashrafi, Maulana Nurul Karim Akram, among others, spoke.
