Earlier, a case was filed against six people under the Cyber ​​Security Act at Taraganj Police Station on Wednesday. Police conducted a raid at night and arrested three people. One of them is 19 years old. The other two are teenagers – one is 16 and the other is 17 years old. According to police and case RG sources, a Hindu teenager from the upazila recently posted a video mocking the city of Medina on Facebook. There were six people in the video, including the teenager. When the matter came to light, the angry crowd protested at the Hariarkuthi Union Parishad on Tuesday afternoon to protest the incident. Then, around 3:30 pm that day, they blocked the Bamandighi area of ​​the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway and demanded the arrest of the teenagers.

After the incident, a young man named Limon filed a case at the police station. Taraganj Police Station has registered the application as a case under the Cyber ​​Security Act. Confirming the matter, Taraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saidul Islam said that a case has been registered against six people, including the teenager, in this incident. Raids are being conducted at various places to arrest the accused. It is hoped that they will be arrested very soon and brought under the law.
