BSF pushes 13 people to Feni border
The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 13 people, including women and children, through the Feni border. They were pushed through the Chagalnaiya border in the district early Friday morning. Later, after receiving information from local residents, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested them.

The detainees include Md. Altaf (39), his wife Momina Begum (32); Md. Aminul Islam (38), his wife Urmi Begum (29); Mominul Haque (35), his wife Shefali Begum (30) and Ishraq Hossain (40). The remaining six are children.
The BGB said that 13 people from 4 families who were pushed through the border under the responsibility of the Matua border post in Chagalnaiya upazila have been arrested and handed over to the police station. The local administration will take necessary action against them.
Quoting the detainees, BGB officials said that the 13 Bangladeshis were brought to the border area with their hands and eyes tied. Later, taking advantage of the hostile weather, everyone was untied and blindfolded and pushed back to Bangladesh.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chhagalnaiya Police Station Nazrul Islam said that the 13 people handed over to the police station by the BGB have been kept in a room of the local Matua Primary School. They are being provided with all kinds of assistance, including food.
