Bottled water is most expensive in Switzerland
We know that life cannot be imagined without water. But drinking water is becoming expensive day by day. Especially mineral water. A recent statistic says that the average price of a liter of bottled mineral water is 40 taka. The highest price of water is sold in Switzerland. In the country, one liter of bottled water costs at least 560 taka. In some cases, one liter costs as much as 1,590 taka.

The non-profit organization World Population Review says that for several reasons, bottled water has become a popular and essential product around the world. But along with other drinks, the price of drinking water is also increasing. However, there is considerable variation in the price of water in different countries.
According to the organization, the top five countries selling bottled water at the highest price are in Europe. Apart from Switzerland, the other four countries are Luxembourg, Denmark, Germany and Norway. In these countries, the price of a liter of bottled water is 415, 357, 330 and 329 taka, respectively.
Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia and Israel are also among the top 10 countries in terms of the price of bottled water. In these countries, one liter of bottled water costs 250 to 300 taka. Of these, Austria costs 325 taka, Belgium costs 316, the Netherlands costs 312, Australia costs 274 and Israel costs 269 taka.
The World Population Review has prepared this global list by analyzing the price of bottled water in 100 countries. It has been found that Bangladesh is at the very bottom of the list in terms of the price of bottled water. According to the organization, one liter of water costs 20 taka in Bangladesh. Water is available at a lower price than Bangladesh only in Egypt. The average price of one liter of bottled water in the country is 15 taka.
In addition, in our neighboring countries India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, one liter of bottled water costs 25, 32, 55 and 25 taka respectively.
