BNP leader’s legs were broken after being beaten
A ward BNP leader in Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila was brutally beaten up by miscreants. The incident took place on Wednesday morning at the Kalmankhali field in Dogachhi Union of Sadar Upazila. The doctor said that the leader named Aminul Islam Molya has broken both his legs.

Aminul Islam’s home is in Kalmankhali village. He is the president of Ward No. 5 BNP of Dogachhi Union. Local sources said that Aminul Islam went out in the morning to find workers to work in his paddy field. On his way back, five to six people ambushed him in the Kalmankhali field. At that time, they beat and hacked Aminul with rods and sharp weapons and injured him. The miscreants left him on the road and fled. Later, local people rescued Aminul Molya and took him to the hospital.
Aminul is undergoing treatment at the Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital. Hospital doctor Choa Israel said that Aminul Islam has suffered injuries in both his legs. Both his legs are broken.
Some local people said that Aminul leads various social activities and also acts as an arbitrator. He may be attacked due to a dispute over this.
In this regard, Abdullah Al Mamun, officer-in-charge of Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station, said that no complaint has been filed with the police station in this regard yet. If a complaint is received, action will be taken according to the law.
