The advisor made this comment while briefing journalists after visiting the capital’s Mohammadpur police station this Saturday morning. Regarding the secret meetings and activities of the Awami League, the advisor said, “Everyone will be brought under the law. Even if someone from any force is involved, they will not be given concession.” At that time, he said, “This is a matter of investigation. Action will be taken subject to investigation.”

The advisor said that there is no fear in the country surrounding August 5. He said that the law enforcement agencies are ready and alert in this regard. Apart from this, there is no fear in the way everyone concerned, including journalists, is cooperating in this regard.

The home affairs advisor also said that the country is moving forward because the media is spreading the truth. He said, “I have always said that the tone of foreign media is gradually going down because our journalists are reporting the truth. But now they are not able to be as vocal as before.”
