Mob justice is unacceptable in any way: Home Affairs Advisor
Home Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd.) said, ‘Mob Justice is in no way acceptable. What happened to him (former CEC Nurul Huda), that is, he was put on this and that, is in no way acceptable. If there is anything like that, let us know and hand it over to the law enforcement agencies. The law enforcement agencies will take proper action.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said these things in response to questions from journalists after visiting the Horticulture Center in Mouchak area of Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur on Monday morning.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also said, ‘He (AKM Nurul Huda) was attacked in front of the law enforcement agencies. An investigation committee will be formed for this. We will investigate and see who is involved. If anyone from the law enforcement agencies is involved in this, we will take legal action against them.
Regarding the encroachment of agricultural land, this advisor to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Agriculture said, ‘We are going to make a law to protect agricultural land so that agricultural land is not encroached. Many indigenous fruits are being lost from our country. So, make everyone aware so that everyone plants more indigenous fruit trees.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury arrived at the Mouchak Horticulture Center at 10:30 am. Later, he left for Tangail. There, he will visit the Police Training Center (PTC) and attend a meeting with law enforcement officers and officials from various departments at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
