TikToker Prince Mamun arrested again
TikToker Prince Mamun alias Abdullah Al Mamun has been arrested again. He was arrested on the basis of a court warrant early Thursday.

Prince Mamun was arrested in June last year in a rape case filed by a woman at the capital’s Cantonment Police Station. He was later granted bail. The woman also filed a complaint under the Cyber Security Act for spreading false, misleading and defamatory information online.
Prince Mamun mainly gained fame by posting his own music videos on social media ‘TikTok’ and ‘Likee’. Bhatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Rakibul Hasan said that Prince Mamun was handed over to the court after his arrest.
The woman filed a case against Prince Mamun at the capital’s Cantonment Police Station on charges of rape on the promise of marriage. Later, Mamun was granted bail from the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court on July 1 last year. Mamun claimed in the court that he was innocent. He was made an accused in the case to harass her.
However, in the rape case, the woman alleged that Mamun had been living with her mother in her house since January 7, 2022. He had physical relations with her against her will several times, tempting her to marry him. Even though he talked about marriage several times, Mamun kept delaying it on various pretexts. The last time Mamun raped her was on March 14 last year, promising to marry her. Later, when she talked about marriage, Mamun got angry and abused her. When she contacted Mamun’s parents, they also misbehaved with her.
