City Bank gave this information in a press release. The release said that City Bank’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) from January to June of this year was 2 taka 23 paisa, which was 1 taka 85 paisa in the same period of 2024. According to the report, the bank’s consolidated after-tax profit in the first six months of this year was 301.11 crore taka, which was 249.51 crore taka in the same period last year.
City Bank’s Acting Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Md. Mahbubur Rahman explained various aspects of the financial report in detail at the event. He also spoke about the bank’s recent strategic position and future plans.
The bank’s Deputy Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Banking Mesbaul Asif Siddiqui, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Internal Control and Compliance AKM Sayef Ullah Kausar and Credit Risk Officer Mohammad Firoz Alam were also present at the event. In the last part of the event, the participants asked various questions and the panelists answered these questions.
