In an interview given on Leicester’s app, Hamza spoke about the love and hospitality he received from the people of Bangladesh. Hamza commented that although Bangladesh is far behind England in football, it is far ahead in love. Along with this, the Leicester footballer said that his heart also lies in Bangladesh.

Expressing his love for Bangladesh, Hamza said, “When we first went to Bangladesh, I went to my village. It was a very rural place. That village was a big part of my childhood. Highlighting the hospitality and love he received when he went to his village, Hamza said, ‘The welcome I received there cannot be expressed in words. The boys (teammates) often talk about it, it is incredible. This level of love will never seem normal.’

The difference between Bangladesh and England in football is sky-high. But Hamza believes that Bangladesh is ahead by a wide margin in showing love and sincerity, ‘When we are in the UK, we still get a lot of attention as footballers. But it is nowhere near the sincerity that we get in Bangladesh. It is absolutely extraordinary.’ Although currently in England, Hamza says that a lot of his heart lies in Bangladesh, ‘Many people may say it is a bit scary or emotional. But honestly, for me, a lot of my heart lies there (in Bangladesh). Everyone just comes to show love and positivity. It is an extraordinary feeling.’
