Nahid Islam said these words at an NCP roadshow at the M Saifur Rahman Municipal Meeting premises in Habiganj city on Thursday afternoon. He also said, ‘The solidarity that has been created in the country against fascism between political parties and people is a strength. We will not accept the politics of extortion, occupation and corruption that has started in the country now. We have to break this politics.’ The NCP convener said, ‘We said that every person in Bangladesh will have human rights. No terrorist will be killed extrajudicially. We will stand for human rights. We saw a few days ago how a BNP worker killed a Jubo Dal worker. We condemn and protest against that incident.’
Earlier, at 4 pm today, Thursday, the central leaders of the NCP came to Habiganj and reached the Circuit House. They started the march at 5 pm. The march started from the Circuit House and circled the main roads of the city. The road meeting started at the M Saifur Rahman Municipal Auditorium premises in Habiganj at around 5:30 pm.
