Air Force and BNP pay tribute at teacher Masuka’s grave
The Air Force paid floral tributes at the grave of Masuka Begum, a teacher who died in the plane crash at Milestone School and College. Tributes were paid at Sohagpur village in Ashuganj upazila of Brahmanbaria at around 2:15 pm today, Friday. Apart from this, some leaders and activists from BNP also visited her grave.

A team of 10 members of the Air Force led by Squadron Leader Mashiur Rahman reached Sohagpur village this afternoon. Later, they offered floral tributes at the grave and prayed for the eternal peace of Masuka’s soul. Mashiur Rahman said, “Masuka has saved the lives of many children by risking her life and sacrificing her own. We pray for the eternal peace of her departed soul. We express our condolences and sympathy to her family. I am sure that the countrymen will remember her great sacrifice with great respect forever.” The Air Force is always by his family’s side.’
Regarding the investigation into the plane crash, Mashiur Rahman told reporters, ‘The process is ongoing in this regard. You will be informed after the investigation. The Air Force team is working.’
Meanwhile, after Friday prayers today, BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie and Central BNP Economic Affairs Secretary and District BNP President Khaled Hossain went to Sohagpur village with leaders and activists. There, they visited Masuka’s grave and prayed for the forgiveness of his soul.
Shahid Uddin Chowdhury said, fascists have started apolitical politics again around this accident. They have started another conspiracy to divert the situation into a different direction. They are doing all this to muddy the situation and loot political benefits. Masuka was injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College last Monday afternoon. Later, he was taken to the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. He died while undergoing treatment there at around 12:30 am on Monday.
