The admission process for the Masters program in Remote Sensing and GIS has started in the Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS Department at Jahangirnagar University for the academic year 2025-26. Course details—

Jahangirnagar University offers Masters in Remote Sensing, application ends July 27
2. It is 40 credit hours
3. The duration of the program is one year
Those who can apply—
1. The applicant must have a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, and a four-year bachelor’s degree in the following subjects
2. Bachelor’s degree holders in various subjects including Agriculture, Anthropology, Architecture, Botany, CSE, Civil Engineering, Coastal and River Engineering, Management can apply. Required dates for admission—
1. The type of exam question will be MCQ
2. The time will be one hour
3 Venue of the exam: Social Science Building, Jahangirnagar University.
Admission test subject—
1. Bengali 10, English 10, Mathematics 10, Physics 10, ICT 15, Remote Sensing 20 and GIS 20 marks, total 95 marks.
2. 5 marks in oral examination.
3. 0.5 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Admission details—
1. Last date for application: 27 July 2025, 10 am.
2. Admission test date: 10 August 2025, 10 am to 11 am.
3. Oral test date: 11 August 2025, 10 am to 4 pm.
4. Result publication: 13 August 2025.
5. Class start date: 1 September 2025.
