Advisor Asif at symbolic marathon on anniversary of July Uprising
On the occasion of the anniversary of the July Uprising of the students and the public, a symbolic marathon has been organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation with the participation of the family members of the July fighters and those injured and killed in the movement.

Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan participated in this special program organized today, Friday. Advisor Asif Mahmud inaugurated the marathon at 7 am. At the beginning, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the deceased.
At the end of the marathon, the advisor said, “The student-public uprising is a glorious chapter in our history. This uprising has opened a new horizon in establishing democracy and people’s rights in the country. By participating in today’s symbolic marathon, we are paying tribute to the great sacrifices of the uprising and trying to inspire the young generation with that spirit. The nearly five-kilometer-long symbolic marathon with 1,000 competitors started from the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center, passed through Ganabhaban, Parliament Building, Khamarbari, and ended again at the China Friendship Conference Center.
