International conference on data science, AI and apps begins tomorrow
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is now calling for a new industrial revolution all over the world. Market analysts believe that the more information a country has, the more opportunities it has for technology-based development. In this context, an international conference on Data Science, AI and Apps is starting tomorrow, Friday, at Kaliakair Hi-Tech City in Gazipur to highlight the potential and opportunities of Bangladesh. The two-day conference is jointly organized by EATL Innovation Hub and the University of Salford in the UK. Highlighting various aspects of the conference, EATL Managing Director MA Mubin Khan said that various aspects of using data science and artificial intelligence technology for Bangladesh will be discussed in this conference titled ‘International Conference on Data Science, AI and Applications’.

Researchers, experts, academicians and policymakers from home and abroad will participate in the conference. EATL Innovation Hub Chairman and former Principal Secretary Md. Abdul Karim will preside over the inaugural session, where Financial Advisor Salehuddin Ahmed will address. Pubali Bank PLC Managing Director Mohammad Ali will be the guest of honor. Professor Latifur Khan, Department of Computer Science, University of Texas, Dallas, will deliver the inaugural address. The conference will feature keynote speeches, various research paper presentations, workshops, panel discussions and poster displays. On the first day of the conference, Professor Shivkumar Palayanakote of Salford University will conduct a workshop on recent trends in artificial intelligence. The research papers accepted at the conference will be published in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science journal.
