This atrocity is a manifestation of the interim government’s failure to control law and order: Jonayed Saki

Jonayed Saki, the chief coordinator of the Mass Solidarity Movement, has said that atrocities like killing people with stones in public in post-uprising Bangladesh are a manifestation of the interim government’s failure to control law and order. He also demanded that India be brought to justice under the United Nations for killing people one after another on the border.

This atrocity is a manifestation of the interim government’s failure to control law and order: Jonayed Saki

Jonayed Saki said this at an extended meeting of the National Council of the Mass Solidarity Movement on Saturday. The meeting, held at the Major Haider Auditorium of Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhaka, gave guidance to leaders and activists on the ongoing party programs and other organizational matters on the occasion of the anniversary of the July Mass Uprising.

In his speech as president, Jonayed Saki said that it is not possible to get rid of the terrorist activities centered around this structure by maintaining the structure of extortion and racketeering. The people did not stage an uprising to re-establish this politics of creating panic. The people will no longer tolerate such activities. Those who are condoning them and sheltering terrorists must shake off this politics. Otherwise, the people will respond.

Junaid Saki further said that the interim government was formed with the support of the mass uprising. Despite repeated calls in the last 10 months, no strong initiative is being seen to improve the law and order situation. Rather, an attempt is being made to give some kind of legitimacy to anti-people activities like mob attacks by calling them ‘pressure groups’. In continuation of this, identified mob terrorists are also supporting the incident of entering the mosque and beating the Imam.
