Iga Siontek had five Grand Slam trophies in her trophy case. However, the Venus Rosewater dish was not there. How could it be, the Polish star had never reached the Wimbledon final before. Siontek made history today by becoming the first Wimbledon women’s singles champion.

Seontek made history by winning the final 6-0, 6-0 and is now the queen of Wimbledon.

Siontek won the first Venus Rosewater dish by defeating American Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in an incredible match. In just 57 minutes, the eighth seed Siontek became the champion by giving her opponent a ‘double bagel’ in a Grand Slam final.

Earlier, Dorothy Lambert-Chambers defeated Dora Boothby 6-0, 6-0 in the Wimbledon final in 1911. Then in 1988, one of the greatest female tennis players of all time, Steffi Graf, won the French Open by defeating Natasha Zvereva 6-0, 6-0. Siontek achieved this incredible feat 37 years later.
