In the application that the NCP filed for registration with the Election Commission, they mentioned the names of three symbols including the lotus flower as the party symbol.

Similarly, the lotus flower, jute leaf and star are also part of the national symbol. If the lotus flower cannot be a symbol of a political party, then the rice ear cannot be a symbol either.
