DSE’s new COO Mohammad Asadur Rahman
Mohammad Asadur Rahman has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the country’s main stock market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). He joined the post on Monday. Asadur Rahman will serve as the COO and acting MD until he becomes the Managing Director (MD) of DSE. Asadur Rahman joined DSE on April 15, 2010 as Assistant General Manager.

In 2013, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager. After that, he served as the General Manager and Company Secretary of DSE from 2017. Asadur Rahman has served as the head of the DSE’s Board of Directors and Corporate Affairs Department, TREC Affairs Department, Legal Affairs Department, Public Relations and Publication Department and International Affairs Department at various times. Asadur Rahman has participated in meetings with several stock exchanges in different countries of the world, including the Philippines, Singapore, Shanghai (China), India, Maldives, Germany, etc. as a representative of Dhaka Stock Exchange at various times in his career.
