Chittagong Metropolitan Volunteer Party’s 71-member full committee
The 71-member full convening committee of the Chittagong City Volunteer Party has been approved. At the same time, the full convening committees of 15 police stations and partial convening committees of 12 wards under the jurisdiction of Chittagong City were approved. The committee was approved by the central president of the Volunteer Party, SM Jilani, and the general secretary, Rajib Ahsan, on Thursday night. Earlier, on February 6, a two-member partial committee was formed with Belayet Hossain as the convener and Jamir Uddin as the member secretary.

The approval of the full committee was confirmed by the member secretary of the Chittagong City Volunteer Party, Jamir Uddin. 21 people have been made joint conveners and 48 people have been made members in the full committee. Ziaur Rahman has been made the senior joint convener of the committee. Apart from this, the names of Mainuddin Rashed, Sirajul Islam Bhuiyan, Zahirul Haque, Abu Bakkar Raju, Rajib Uddin Akand, Mohsin Kabir, Rifat Hossain, Didar Hossain, Zahirul Islam Tom, Harunur Rashid and others are in the running for the post of joint convener.
